andybarton Posted May 2, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 2, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have posted shots of this magnificent structure before but I don't think I've shown one from the top end of it. This is a favourite spot, only a short walk from where we live. This is a nine shot panorama, using a 35 Summicron ASPH. Welcome, dear visitor! andybarton Posted May 2, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted May 2, 2021 That’s the one. About 20 minutes walk from our home. I first saw it in the mid-70s, when it was very forlorn and not operating. We kissed the front of our boat against the stop gates at the top and moved on. Have since been down in it with my parents. The history of it is really interesting.

Michael Markey Posted May 2, 2021 Share #7 Posted May 2, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yes .... as everywhere now so it seems . She has one of the new builds . I did manage to get a shot of that rather strange structure which stood at the bottom of the hill before they pulled it down ... not on a Leica though ( Sigma DP3M ) so I guess it wouldn`t be appropriate here . andybarton Posted May 2, 2021 Author Share #8 Posted May 2, 2021 I was just looking for the old chemical works that used to sit on the south bank of the river. I have a shot on here of it somewhere, but can’t find it at the moment. They have done an amazing job of cleaning the site up I have to say.
fotografr Posted May 3, 2021 Share #9 Posted May 3, 2021 Beautiful panorama work! The tonal quality, detail and composition are all superb. It resembles a high quality pencil sketch.
