Haha. I know exactly what you are talking about. Maurice André galore but (very) old-school. Baroque music can’t get better, only different.

All natural trumpet lovers should hear this, especially from 2'45". I play it every Christmas, with the amplifier turned up to 11.

Now, really the last - Just the view from the castle towards south. The river is the river Inn.

It was a nice short trip. The details in the scenery are insane for 24mp :)

Leica SL2-S & APO-VARIO-ELMARIT-SL 1:2.8-4/90-280

Getting out and about with the 90-280   It's a heavy beast when paired with the Leica SL2-S but it's the results that count.

I wish I could go on a Safari with it :)

Captured this walking through the nature preserve today.  It was a simple scene but made for a nice image.

Better crystal-clear 6K than muddy 8K or more. Sharpness, the acuteness etc. depend much on the lens. That lens is truly extraordinary, especially how less it distorts faces at the edges. Superb for environmental portraits.
From the very beginning I was wondering whether to get the 35mm Summicron SL or rather the 24-90. I chose the zoom because I need it for assignments but the 35mm is highly intriguing if you are after a modern but moody look. I even like the flares.
