Hi Hans,

the 24-90 is a huge but one heck of a versatile lens with nearly perfect optics. Used it solely through my last vacation with a Kase Magnetic filter set. Big but great and without the direct 1:1 comparison with the apo-summicron-sl there is nothing to miss. And a free Sherpa-Training is included :D

Picture: 24-90

Thank you Helge, well said! We're working hard to conserve & protect these remaining wilderness areas, their fauna & flora.

Over the past couple of years we've been working on a large scale project in wilderness areas, essentially buffer zones, which are adjacent to the Serengeti in Tanzania. This is in partnership with govt. & local communities & involves investment into community projects, coupled with long-term leases over these areas so as to protect them for at least the next 90 years. I'm building a photographic record of the project which I hope to share in the coming months.

This image below, taken over the NW section of the Serengeti, clearly illustrates the unfenced, hard boundary between wilderness areas & human activities which encroach into these areas.

I really appreciate effort to preserve nature. I'm wondering if someday we will see your photos from Scotland or England, Wales... Project: (Re)forestation of UK. Any chances?

p.s. the new king seems to be an active environmentalist.

+1. Huge contrasts, despite the world get smaller and smaller in many ways. Personally I love seasonal shifts with 0 deg C crossings. But I also think that I could adapt to regions with slightly higher temperatures...
