How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

Posted in Q forum last time. I have a Q2 reporter so came here. I find I take the Q with me over my Sony A7 RV the majority of the time. It's such an easy camera to use. I'd buy a Q with a 50 in a heart beat. Nevertheless, fall got me back into shooting; I slacked off the last year or so. These images from Nashville, TN.

Thank you David. I just ordered a few more rolls of B&W film for my MP and have shot B&W film for nearly 50 years. I wondered how I would react to the Q2M and have been pleasantly surprised. Though the romance of achieving a grainy, contrasty B&W image from film that pleases me is still a strong draw, I find myself looking forward to capturing and discovering images from the files of the Q2M just as much…

Back in the day, I used to shoot a fair bit of pushed Tri-x (before it became trendy :)  ). I have a sneaking suspicion that the Q2M has a similar colour bias to Tri-x — curious if anyone else thinks the same…

Also: I find the noise from ridiculously high ISO settings on the Q2M quite inoffensive …. :)

I really enjoy viewing your talented black and whites but I'm not a fan of plain white skies.  Just my personal problem. WhenI look out the window each morning I'm hoping for crazy clouds.
