Fine shots Louis.

With the Nikkors, you use them at max aperture, or stopped down?

I am using my T with the M as well as R lenses as you know, and find it's another step, open it up, focus, stop it down, shoot.

Thanks very much, Gary. I usually open my lenses as much as I can, depending on the shot and the amount of shallow background I believe fits that shot.

So, what I was really angling at Louis, if you were to shoot stopped down a tad, say a stop or two, do you focus at that aperture, or focus wide open, then stop down?
I prefer to focus wide open, then stop down, but it's a pain, probably the reason auto-aperture lenses were invented many years ago?

Well, it depends on the subject, I guess. Focusing on a landscape and on a closeup object is different. But it is true that when your lens is wide open you can get a more accurate focus, and it happens to me often to first focus  wide open and then to turn the ring till I get the background that I like!

Tony, it seems to be such a sharp lens! Great IQ and colors!

But you got so many different lenses that it must make it hard for to choose one for a shoot!... I always have this problem with my lenses, but you have more than me! :)

Hi Louis, yes it is tricky choosing which lens/camera combination to take out. I will generally only take one lens for each of two cameras. It depends where I am going. Sometimes shots are missed because of the wrong choice but i'm philosophical about that.

The Leica T lenses are all very good,my favourites being the 35cron and the 55-135. I had the wide angle but I found it too large/heavy to handle comfortably. Otherwise it's a super lens. I have other lenses that come and go, if I don't like the handling I usually sell. Just getting into analogue stuff again I bought some screw lenses , and so it goes.

I look forward to the next 'T' announcements, they did promise a 60mm macro, but haven't heard much of that recently.

Photography is a creative recreation for me Louis, and I know it is for you. Keep on clicking my friend. Tony.
