A try with my old (from the early 1970) 6,8/400mm Telyt - handheld full open with 400 ISO. Great what you can do with this 2 lenses system - first normal view, the second (next post) in 100%

Michael,

Are you very pleased with the 35mm?

Thank you for your thoughts.

Rob

Yes, absolutely. This is a great lens. As all examples here show, it delivers great IQ. I personally like the color impression very much.

From Michael to Michael,

I fully agree with you.

Then I asked me, how is my M 35mm Summilux ash. compared to the Summilux for the T. It might be a little off topic - but here is an quick example taken with f/1,4. The greatest "problem" with the M 35mm seems the minimal focusing distance of 0.7 meters compared to the 0.4meter (am I right?) oft the T-Model and sometimes I have the feeling, that the the M has some more CA's.

But overall the IQ - in my opinion - is equal to the M. Good to see that the T-lenses are on M-level.

Michael

Harmonious needles

All the samples I have seen from the new 35 mm TL prove that it is, indeed, a great lens. I hope to get it one day.

Meanwhile, my old Nikkor lenses are still doing OK on T. These are taken with Nikkor 85 mm, f/1.8 that has always been one of my favorite lenses, although it is not always very practical on a ASP-C sensor.
