US East Coast’s horrible blizzard!...

For nights and days, they have been announcing a horrible “blizzard” in the East Coast of the US! … For days now, you can’t find any food or drink in any grocery store in my neighborhood! …

Now, we are living in the middle of this “horrible” blizzard in my neighborhood, outside of DC; but so far,  the only “horrible” situation  for me has been not being able to find anything interesting to shoot!...

When I was a kid in Europe, we used to go to school in this kind of normal winter weather; but here, everything is closed!... Even the metro is not running!...

Wow Louis, we are into the 30's today, too hot for me.

Your blizzard shots are stunning. I especially love the B&W renditions, very nice.

That T and Nikkor combo is proving a winner.

Have you tried something like the 24mm Nikkor? It would be interesting.

I am not much of a wide angle shooter, Gary.  I have a Nikkor 28 mm that is considered as the best 28 mm ever made, but almost never used it with 35 mm cameras, and even with ASP-C sensor I am not using it much. I love to have a shallow background and I like 50 mm bokeh. If I really need a wide angle, I can always use my Nikkor17-55 that is excellent and really a sharp glass!...
