@ JPP1: I'm very impressed by your shots, framing, light, colours...well done!

robert

Thanks, Robert.

I find the T an inspiring camera. And, yes, it has very good colors rendering (I use STD Film mode with saturation set to +1).

All great photographs with the T 11-23 lens, this is quickly becoming my favorite lens and frequently take it with me as the only lens.

Although I have had Leica film cameras with 28 and 35 mm lenses, wider angle lenses were not my lenses of choice.

The T 11-23 is truly an outstanding lens , even when I bought this lens, I was somewhat skeptical of the use of this lens,it has opened up a new area of photography for me, the sharpness of this lens is similar or the same as the 28mm lens on the Leica Q that I had for a while.

If your wallet will allow it (or not as in my case) get it, you will not be disappointed.

SirPiet and JPP!: excellent photography.

Thanks for your comment.

The T 11-23 has excellent IQ, and it's probably my second favorite lens on the T. The first is the Elmarit-M 28 for its size, weight, and ... DOF scale.

And BTW, this lens is so stunning it can upset the Old Lady:

Another lovely couple – Painterly

rms: good to see that the 11-23 is great for Broad(s) scenery (a little levity for the Limeys).

Where is that house and what does the stone obelisk say?

I've ordered an 11-23... Can't wait to get it.

Thanks for the kind words.  Couldn't load a larger file or you might have been able to read the marker. It says, "Battle Road   April 19, 1775"

The house is one of many preserved along several miles of historic road here that goes from Lexington to Concord - all homes that were once on working 18th c. farms, now preserved in Minuteman National Park in Massachusetts.

The 11-23 is a wonderful lens indeed.
