Leica Elmarit-TL  18mm 2.8 ASPH. The smallest TL lens. In my opinion has great contrast and colour rendition. Distortion and vignetting corrected in camera - so no issue. Fast focus. Featherweight. Bright.

Another bonus, I have read official advice by Leica it is designed not to have the need for a lens shade through clever optic design, albeit I have seen an owner kit one out with one, presumably as a fashion accessory, negating the whole point of the lens' pancake size !
