I posted this 3 years ago over in the "Show us your portraits" thread, but this is a T (type 701) photo.  Taken with the 18-56.  I honestly don't know why this lens gets such faint praise.  I think it handles difficult light with aplomb.

TL2, Summicron-M (ver. IV).  3200 ISO, 8 sec. at f/2.

Sagittarius star cloud (with real clouds).  The bright guy on the right showing astigmatism and lighting a foreground cloud is Jupiter--overexposed.

I find the T a very versatile camera, and its Visoflex attachment perfect for photos like this.  The ability to angle the viewfinder is one reason I picked the TL2 over the CL when upgrading my fist T (type 701).

Here are a couple more, and then I promise I'll quit for awhile.

I hiked in Capitol Reef NP (one of my favorite) a couple of weeks ago and thought I'd try something different with that marvelous red and white rock.  So, I shot infrared using the TL2 and a B+W 093 filter.  Loooong exposures, up to 30 sec., and mostly it was a wash, but there were cases where the IR worked really well with the stunning landscape.  Here's one (well, I think so, obviously).
