How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

T(701) 50/2 Summicron. I was trying out the pop up flash in the black and white high contrast mode..What flash setting and approaches to anyone using the flash find best to use with people shots, say on the street?

Louis, are you back in Florence or is this from your last trip?  Missing you on the CL image forum... what's up??  I'm going back to Venice next week and trying to slot in a visit to Florence if weather and time permit, it's years since I have been there.  Hope you're well.

Hello, dear Jane.

Unfortunately, I did not return to this dream city; these are still from last year. I am just trying to keep the T forum alive and since I shoot mostly with CL, I am posting some old shots from T.

The CL forum is doing well and is very active with many old and new posters. No need for me to add to the crowd with my private life, poetries, meaningless praises, double postings and issues that have nothing to do with photography! lol :D

Your presence in this forum is very precious; you are doing a fantastic and a very inspiring contribution, dear friend. 

But I am still posting in Portrait, Street, and other forums. They are tough, but I like the way these Forums are made. The comments go in each poster’s theme and don’t go all over the place! ;)

Have a wonderful trip to Venice, Jane. A really very special place on our planet with an uncertain future!
