Beautiful, Robert! I didn't know 55-135 was so sharp!

I can't wait for this year Fotokina to see if there is a new version of "T"! It would be nice to have a more "modern" sensor with more MP and in-body EVF like in Q!... Of course, also with WIFI that would work for everyone! ;)

Thank you, Louis. I set the T on a tripod in the garden and used its wi-fi to operate the camera from my iPhone indoors. It’s the first time I’ve used the wi-fi in earnest. Apart from a false start (solved by restarting the phone) it worked very well.

Nice pics Louis. Did you increase contrast in post processing?

Thanks very much, Su25. It was a dark day and these shots were also made in dark areas of the museum. That said, I also often favor more contrasty photos, more specially for my  B/W pictures.

I am working on a very carefully calibrated monitor, and my photos may look darker on monitors that have not the same calibration. :)

I have recently purchased a T and am loving the camera. This shot was taken with a closeup filter added to the kit lens. I do not know the identity of this insect. Does anyone else here know?

Taken through the window of a small town antique store in North Carolina with the Leitz Wetzlar 135mm Elmar. This is straight from the camera with no editing.

Dan,

It isn't an insect (six legs) but an arachnid (eight legs) - that is, it's a spider. I'm afraid I cannot help you with the species, there are thousands to choose from, but it narrows it down a bit! It might even be quite common where you found it, so might not be impossible to identify.

Great shot!

Tim

Macro with “T”!

Recently, I noticed the interest some of the folks have for macro photography. So, I decided to give a shot.

They are all shot on tripod with “T” and Nikkor 85 mm, f/1.8 + Tiffen close-up filter X4.
