A couple of detail shots from the Tank Museum, Bovington. I've posted some tank photos in the Technology & Industry photo forum.

As Oscar Wilde put it, "The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it".

I was playing with this lens in a Leica store, yesterday. What a great lens! I did not have time to change the settings on my camera for AF and just took a couple of shots in the store with MF. Colors and details were really impressive. And, it is not as big as I thought; actually smaller than the Nikkor 28 mm I had on my camera.

What surprised me was the prize; it was about $600 cheaper than what we see on line in different stores. I asked the them if they are not making a mistake; they checked the prize again in their book and yes, it was, indeed, much cheaper!!! ... Something than I may consider!

Very good, Louis! I like the 28mm perspective on the T. It produces a very natural view, I think.

Thanks very much, Robert. 28 mm = 42 mm (full frame) is not bad for street shooting and the little distortion is easy to fix. My only issue with this range is not being able to control the background. I love the shallow background I get from 50 mm and 85 mm on T; but they are not practical for street photography!
