mmradman Posted December 14, 2020 Share #81  Posted December 14, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Some People see digital camera and even variant of standard lens as monetary investment, expecting profit at some point in the future. Btw, I live for today and coined investment in happiness in context of buying incompatible MF lens to use on AF camera over ten years ago, that is a story for other time. Erato Posted December 15, 2020 Share #83  Posted December 15, 2020 (edited) For those who embraced digital photography, the ten years ROI ratio is reasonable. All you need to do is shooting around 700 shots per month, assuming you've purchased the M10 M plus 35 Lux FLE. And the math is quite similar even if you choose the M10-R or M10-P. For those who embraced analog photography, it doesn't make any difference, either M6 or MP. The fact is that you'd need to deal with a film developer(T-MAX, D-76, XTOL, HC110 or so). You may spend more dollars on pursuing steady high-quality outcomes, no matter your photography style or genre. At the expense of negative/reversal films, the relevant process may increase along with the timeline moving forward. In terms of ROI ratio, both pathways could be different, and if you're lucky enough, your investment might get a good chance to catch up with the leapfrogging strategy anytime. Welcome, dear visitor! Black ISO line, back "Leica Camera Wetzlar Made in Germany" all black. Only the top "Leitz Wetzlar Germany" is white. For the most part it appears the later cameras were produced with the extra white lettering, and the change was confirmed to me by the head of their camera division in an email response to my question. Enjoy your camera!
