strohscw Posted August 3, 2020 Share #61 Posted August 3, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Out of my experience I would say that a yellow filter improves the tone separation between light and shadow parts and an orange or red filter leads to a more dramatic representation of a blue sky. Advertisement Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Hi strohscw, Take a look here Filters on the Monochroms. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Sjz Posted August 9, 2020 Share #62 Posted August 9, 2020 The filters have not yet arrived for the 50mm I am still needing a bit of help, would a green filter have helped avoid this unrealistic looking pohoto? These (don't know the name of the plant) were green and straw coloured - what colour of filter would have helped here? (To be fair to the M10M it recorded a lot of detail on these plants considering they were swaying in the hot breeze.) Welcome, dear visitor! a.noctilux Posted August 9, 2020 Share #63 Posted August 9, 2020 With green filter you would have lighter/whiter "greens hue". If the main color is green, with a green filter would not enhance contrast to the whole picture. The colored filter rendering is to lighten same color. Experimentations can be easier with LV or EVF. post #7 of this thread another example not with M10 Monochrom, but here is a picture I like M246 with green filter on old lens Welcome, dear visitor!
