On the basis of there being no blown highlights in the top image I'll say the top is film and the bottom is the M9.

That, along with the red-ish tint, is exactly my conclusion.

Impossible to say. The top one looks like it has highlight inconsistencies that I would associated with digital capture, but also seems to have a weird 'noise' almost looking like reticulation which is a phenomenon associated with film. Without knowing the way that the film file has been digitised and whether any post processing has been carried out, and to do what, I don't think that it is possible to be definitive from web displayed jpeg files. Exposure is inconsistent too.

If the top one isn't film I'll eat my hat. I'll even eat HER hat!

You're only saying that because you saw that the bottom one was posted in the M9 section! 😂 (but without the extra red)

Ah dammit! Not that I saw that it was posted in the M9 section (I didn't - I don't think I'd ever visited there before just now, following your post) but because I like to eat hats. Is that so strange?

No, seriously, the skin gives it away. Game set and match right there. It's an old comparison now, it's a different digital camera, and I'm sure we've all see it, but this still holds true: http://www.summilux.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=51356
