MikeMyers Posted March 6, 2020 Share #1 Posted March 6, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can someone please tell me what the recommended size is for uploading images to the M10 forum? I've been uploading images that are 800 pixels wide, and I think the forum is enlarging them. Probably better to upload the appropriate size image to begin with. Also, are there different "user categories", which determine how much one can upload? Also, is there a page where I can change a global setting, so I always get notified about replies? Advertisement Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Hi MikeMyers, Take a look here Photo Upload Size for this forum. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jankap Posted March 6, 2020 Share #2 Posted March 6, 2020 (edited) One should be able to find this info somewhere. At the moment I cannot find it either. I believe 1500 pixel and - see below in the answer box - 2.34MB maximum. Edited March 6, 2020 by jankap
T25UFO Posted March 6, 2020 Share #3 Posted March 6, 2020 (edited) If using Lightroom: File > Export File Settings tick box Limit File Size To 1000k. Image Sizing tick box Resize To Fit and in the drop down menu select Long Edge, then set 2480 and in drop down menu choose Pixels, then Resolution 240 and in the drop down menu choose Pixels Per Inch. That should be fine. Edited March 6, 2020 by T25UFO
jaapv Posted March 6, 2020 Share #4 Posted March 6, 2020 Sponsoring members can upload 2000 k per post. The value for PPI is irrelevant for this use. Please use the "about the leica forum" subforum for threads like these.
