How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Thank you Brent. I appreciate the kind words and also the positive critique. The black line annoyed me to death. I should have rotated slightly. I’ll def clone it out.

Taken from a moving car. It's a sound-blocking fence for some houses near a busy main road, decorated with bird shapes. M10M + 50/2.8 M

Sierra Gorda, Valle del Guadalhorce, near Málaga. For the dog-walkers among us, these abandoned streets where the houses were never built due to the 2008 crisis make for great views and help avoid the mud when it's been raining. M10M + 50/2.8 M

The Point Cabrillo Light Station at sunrise. It's still an active duty aid to navigation on the Mendocino, California coast, and contains the original Chance Brothers classic third-order Fresnel lens. It began operating in 1909 and is one of the most-complete lightstations in the U.S. 35 Summilux, red (maybe orange?) filter (don't remember).
