One week into an M10M, my favorite image to date... Because the lighting was interesting with various clouds this late afternoon, I returned to a nearby, quiet, and familiar spot, Honeybee Canyon, just North of Tucson, Arizona (we are in a Pandemic, after all), and took the image below with a 35mm lens, yellow filter, and graduated density filter for the brighter sky.

One observation, normally, there are many con trails as the sky above is a highway point for jets going to and from California, but very few these days, and none this afternoon.

Wonderful picture.

May I ask...what filter set up are you using with the Leica M10M for the graduated filter you mentioned to help you with the sky on this one?

I'm new to Leica, but this is the first reference I've ever heard to a grad filter system being used on a Leica.

Thank you in advance!!

I only got my M10M shortly before the first lockdown so have used it much less than I would have liked; but recently I have managed to take it out a bit more and I am bowled over by results like this - not a good photo, but it seems to me that the rendering of light and particularly texture by its sensor is remarkable:

Thanks.  :)  I used a Galen Rowell 3 stop hard edge graduated filter:  https://singh-ray.com/shop/galen-rowell-graduated-neutral-density-nd-filter/

You'll also need a holder and the an adapter that has the same size as your lens.  s

Thank you, if I might pick your brain one bit more...

What holder system and adapter are you using for a Leica M camera?

Again, thank you in advance!!

I'm not sure why but this image resonates with me.  Curious what others think. Thanks.
