I also sent the RAW to Leica engineer and yet got a response. Hi Fallancer. Is your problemen solved? I have the same issues.

ggiannis Posted June 8 Share #83 Posted June 8 Good morning people ☀️😃 I stumbled upon this thread because I face similar issues with my Leica m10 at night photos. It’s not happening always as it was described in previous comments. Could someone tell, if wet cleaning the sensor helps or if Leica Customer Care suggested anything else? Thanks a lot in advance! 🙏
pgh Posted June 9 Share #84 Posted June 9 (edited) ^ it looked like an “issue” with the sensor itself - not dirt. Scare quotes because apparently if you use your tool beyond its intended limits and there are problems it is still Leicas fault. that said, there’s not a single example in this thread (and I went through it all) that corresponds with anything close to what I would call a usable exposure even without these spots. the last example has pictures at 6400 pushed 5 stops. That is like an iso 200,000 picture. That is an underexposure problem, since the m10 has a top iso of 50k (and in real use I’d probably say 6400 - NOT pushes 5 stops). if it were me I’d stop worrying about it and bring a tripod to use longer shutter speeds and keep your iso down for night photos, or get a camera with better low light capabilities. All of these photos are beyond a sensible use of the sensor. Ive shot with multiple m10 bodies since this model was released and never have even tried to push a photo like the posts here. I bet if I did all my cameras would have this “problem.” But in 8 years, I’ve never had a reason to notice. Edited June 9 by pgh
