They are having the first US launch event on 11-21 but they won't have a demo camera for me to use. The lens micro-contrast plus the ‘depth’ which the SL2 sensor generates is phenomenal especially for landscape application. The WATE, no doubt a great lens itself is no match. Oh with the SL/SL2, the corner distortion of the 16-35 is self corrected. I’m not sure if that happens on the S1/R as well?
