i think it´s more characteristic to the lens (Sigma 135mm ART) and its f1.8, btw the compression ( loss of information) makes the bokeh worse.

I do not find the bokeh bad. 
Only at very short distance the change from focus to oof seems to be very abrupt.  the second picture it is almost an edge in the gradient from sharp to unsharp.
For such close distances you have your very pleasing Voightländer… 😉

I remember my grandfather had this little guy hanging on the mirror of his Audi 80 (or was it a smaller Audi 60? do not know anymore) It was in the late 70ies…
