How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Pink rose and a macro of the stamens of it. Second one is not a crop of first one, but another photo. Both with SL2 and Sigma Macro 105 mm.

Ok, tons of post on this one in Silver Efex Pro, Tri-X emulation and a lot of extra noise added (the skies were this dramatic, its the coast of Iceland after all)

My friend and fellow rock climber put up some shelves for me.  The wall is quite hard so it was quite an effort.  Anyway, three dead drill bits and two days later the shelves are up and I gave him a climber's brush (from SillyGoat holds, the 'Davey Boy') as a thank-you.  The book is 'Alone on the Wall' (because I like visual puns), the story of Alex Honnold's free solo ascent of a serious climb in Yosemite (and other ascents), the scariest movie any rock climber can watch.
