How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

(Cold) Winter night at the western coast of Norway. Stitch of 4x3 images (with Syrp Genie II Pan-Tilt); the greenish tint is atmospheric air-glow; the tiny band raising towards right is the narrow part of the Milky Way; the light pollution to the left is from a local village. SL2 + SL24-90 @35mm, f3.2, 15 sec (no tracking), ISO1600, stitched in PTGuiPro.

A hard way to get up to Jerusalem.  This is the entrance to a new set of auto tunnels under the hills at the western edge of the city.

To me, this looks like one of the sand worms of Dune (SciFi reference).  A friend, who lives on top of the hill that this tunnel goes under tells me that he can hear them grinding away 24 hours by 5 1/2 days of the week.

Shot at a different direction, and got more "happy" image with the "happy clouds." 🙂
