African jacana  (Actophilornis africanus) or Jesus bird, as it often looks like it's walking on water.  It's long claws & toes enable it to walk on Lilly leaves & other floating vegetation.

Artificial nymph for flyfishing with SL2 and new Sigma Macro 105 mm. First photo to show size together with a 2 Euro piece, second one nymph alone, third one lens together with 2 ply converter of Sigma. Alle photos are no crops. Of course no real test, but just to show, what is achievable regarding size. The first impression of the lens in macro use is very good.

Details of an orchid - SL2 and Sigma Macro 105 mm - first three plus 2ply Sigma extender, last one lens only. All are uncropped and were taken without use of a tripod, but at high ISOs.Exifs are in.
