Very nice.  Only realized the scale when I saw that walkway and people.  Good shot!

Sundial Bridge, Turtle Creek Bay. Over the Sacramento River, Redding, California. Leica Q2, 1/100, f/8, ISO 100. The vertical segment makes a very accurate sundial around the summer solstice.

Here is a picture of my daughter at brunch this morning.  This is the sort of situation where having 47 megapixels really helps.  This is roughly an "100mm" crop of the image, so just under four megapixels.  Still enough detail for anything up to an 8"x10" print.  With the original Q if I wanted an 8"x10" without getting in closer, it would have been more of an "environmental portrait" rather than a head and shoulders shot.

Are there better cameras for portraits?  Of course.  Better cameras for just bringing along on an outing when you don't know what you're going to photograph?  I'm not sure.

Oh, no correction required for skin tones aside from setting the white balance.  I don't know about the JPG's since I virtually never use them.  This was at f/1.7, so it should be equivalent to an f/6 focal ratio on a "true" 100mm full frame lens and body.
