How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

That's just a rock (the one on the right in my photo), and it's covered by water in storms!🙂 But you are strictly correct.

First test shots with Tiffen Glimmerglas 1. I had a black mist filter in the past, didn't like it as the effect was too strong for my taste. This filter is very subtle. It's just adding some glow while maintaining sharpness and contrast very well. These subjects and the lighting are not very suitable for test purpose, but a new toy needs to be tested, even if there is no time ;)

I'm a couple of weeks into Q2 ownership and whilst not had as much time playing with the camera as I'd like, am starting to get to grip with it - a lot of images still coming out quite dark, but easily rectified in LR. So a selection of my early, novice efforts:
