All right.  I have no idea what this is or used for, but I saw it in Grandview, WA yesterday outside a machine shop.  Something to do with agriculture.  The outer rim with the ridges is rubber.   A lot of grapes are raised in that area as well as other fruit.  Not sure if it is used in the field or in a processing plant but it looked interesting so I shot a few.

Found out they are used to harvest hops, something we have a lot of around here.  Another view.

Tea Pot Gas Station in Zillah, WA.  It was alongside the highway for many years, but a few years back they  moved it to town and fixed it all up.  I liked it in the old location, but at  least it is preserved now.

Spent a night in the forest last weekend. With my Q2 and new tripod. Jupiter and Venus in a mix of moonlight and sunset. And actually many stars. I hope the show on the image (iso800, f 4,0, 3sec)
