How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Very nice photo, especially when viewed large.  I love the detail in the shadows that you brought out.  I hope you can print this really large and enjoy it.

Close up (Macro mode) with some good cropping of the top of a horsetail plant.  Shot at f-2.8 to throw more of the background out of focus.  Would have gone wider but needed some depth of field to get the whole tip sharp hand holding the camera.  View it large to really see it as planned.

Thought I would try a much tighter crop of the one I posted above.  It works out to a 2.5 MP shot, sharpened a little bit with Topaz Sharpen AI, though it looked pretty good with what Lightroom did to it.  Be sure to look at it large for the full impact.  Did I oversharpen it?
