How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Berliner Tor Hamburg:

they are rebuilding the complete station. 
 

it was ok to look at the bridge with the blue light. But then the light inside was turned on and I thought: lucky day ….

All of our photos are private until we choose to share them, unless taken in a professional context.  And I'd say families make as good a subject as trees or hills or buildings or attractive young women, or anything else for that matter, although there are photos of course that should always stay private, like kids in the bath or whatever.

I think what you really mean is that they weren't good enough to be interesting to anyone except me and my family.  And that's fine, and completely valid, and probably true -- i've had about 2.5 years off of photography, and while I'm excited to be back and keen to share, I am rusty and need to get my eye back in.  Hopefully it doesn't take too long 🤣

I’m glad they do. As someone without a Q2 I want to see how the camera performs for subjects I‘d shoot and use the camera for. Goofing around at home would be such a usecase. I personally can‘t see the value in random street scenes or overprocessed hdr images as that is not what I shoot.  To each their own, I guess.

Hey I personally thought they were great, especially the last one! Don’t beat yourself up too much, you still clearly know how to take a great photo.
