How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Why make a post like this?  What constructive purpose does it serve?  None, as far as I can tell.

I really take offence with statements like that. Even if you think the picture is not a good one, there are more constructive ways to say it without offending anyone. I saw that this is a theme with you, judging by the comments you made in your other post about the inability to capture moving objects with the Q2. There is no reason to be like this; we can disagree in an amicable manner. Also, it is not mandatory to be a member of this forum. Last but not least, I would really like to see images that you have made with the Q or other other cameras, to get a feel for your level of expertise, which may or may not (most likely not) account for your lack of patience with us lesser photographers;)

The reason i have not posted any images on here is because iin the past I have had images stolen and used by other companies and them getting paid for them! Also In the past I won three national photography competitions and know a good photograph when i see one!

Have any of you experts watched the series on sky about finding the next top photographer? would have been interesting to hear what they would have said about such a "picture"??

You either have the "EYE" or you don't ! and i for one don't !  All i will say on the matter is you might have one of the very best cameras on the market and know all the technical stuff but it still does not make you a photographer, and it appears that most people use some kind of editing package to cover up there short falls in anycase!
