I already have the R-L adapter and use my Leica R macro lenses on my CL. Is the 180mm lens is usable on the CL body for handheld shooting? I have read that the lens is optimized for the infinity and weaker at closer distances. I hope i will find a use for the Apo-Telyt on my trips. lct Posted July 10, 2019 Share #5 Posted July 10, 2019 +1 the pic below has been shot at MFD but the latter is longish on the R 180/3.4 apo (2.5m). The lens feels also heavy (750g) on a compact camera like the CL. Not a big deal if you need 280mm equiv. focal length otherwise i much prefer the M 135/3.4 apo on this body personally.
