fotografr Posted June 18, 2019 Share #1  Posted June 18, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) We have blue Tradescontia taking over our garden at the moment. I decided to do a bokeh comparison with the 50mm f1.0 Noctilux (top) and 90mm Elmarit (bottom) both wide open at minimum focus distances. I've always been impressed by the 90mm Elmarit for its sharpness, bokeh and modest price. M10 Welcome, dear visitor! But I do enjoy their bokehs.

But the Bokeh of the Noctilux seems to me more balanced/harmoniously while the Bokeh of the Elmarit has a certain look that lets it look it to me more unbalanced. Nevertheless I like both images. Iduna Posted June 26, 2019 Share #10 Â Posted June 26, 2019 Both are lovely and equally good. The frame of the picture taken with the 90 mm is better for the small blossoms . These focal lengths need their special subject and its size.
Reini Posted June 26, 2019 Share #11 Â Posted June 26, 2019 I prefer the second picture (90cm Elmarit?) Less double-effect in the bokeh. 1
FrancoisF Posted June 26, 2019 Share #12 Â Posted June 26, 2019 Great pictures, both of them. I prefer the Elmarit (actually I put an Elmarit R 90mm on my Nikon D700 and it produces very nice pictures)!
