How does one manage to accurately focus a lens this fast on film? I can't get my M3 adjusted well enough to even accurately focus at f/1.2 with any reliability.

Since the M3 has a 0.91 magnification rangefinder it should be easier than the ~0.68 magnification rangefinders on the other film and digital M's that many of use.  I've found that technique and practice play a large part in accurately focussing the 50/1.0 Noctilux wide open.  If I haven't used the Noctilux for a few weeks I've noticed that it can take me a session or so until I am reliably hitting focus wide open.

Pete.
