A lot of people just don't get it, but GOOD GOD there is such magic to be had at f/1.4 and wider apertures. I had once a 1.0 / 50 and at least wide open I had to learn to say goodbye to the idea of absolute sharpness. It is a quite soft lens and as i read the 1.2 is a tad softer as the 50.
