There was extremely bright sunlight coming through a window in front of her and I shot a bunch of pictures with the highlights intentionally blown out and with flare in the frame as a compositional element. In my other use of this lens, I have not found flare to be an impedance or even something I’ve come across unless I’ve directly shot into sunlight.
