Bobitybob Posted May 1, 2019 Share #1  Posted May 1, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not all of them you understand but examples of a few I have tried. I recently had the good luck to pick up a GFX 50R at a VERY good price, and having tried it with a native GF 63mm, I thought about how my my R lenses would perform in 35mm mode.  One cheap Chinese adapter later I can say it works very well.  Also surprisingly, in medium format mode, of the ones I have tried some work without any and others with only minimal vignetting. Examples below. Welcome, dear visitor! I've also tried the 50 Summicron and there is no obvious vignetting. Vario Elmar 1:4/35-70 has vignetting at 35mm but is ok from about 50mm Telyt 1:4.8/350 does vignette unfortunately.  Hope that's of interest to those that may be considering this camera in the future.  4
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!  Vario Elmar-R 70-210 at 210, there is vignetting at 70 but this resolves at about 100mm. SocialKonstruct Posted September 28, 2019 Share #8 Â Posted September 28, 2019 How are you getting accurate focusing with this setup? Can R lenses handle the medium format resolution well?
ropo54 Posted September 28, 2019 Share #9  Posted September 28, 2019 2 questions: Has anyone tried a noctilux on the GFX or the M 75  1.4 or R 80 1.4? For a short while I had the Hb x1D and the noctilux vignetted a lot, but the R 80 1.4 was just fine.  Frame-It's shots with the 50 summilux look terrific on the GFX. Thanks, Rob

ramarren Posted September 29, 2019 Share #13  Posted September 29, 2019 thanks! I'll be using my M and R lenses on the Hasselblad 907x when it arrives. I'm not so concerned with the full-frame coverage, more with the square crop to 33x33mm. They should all cover that reasonably well. It'll be amusing to test and experiment, I'm sure. hamey Posted September 18, 2021 Share #17  Posted September 18, 2021 I have always enjoyed viewing images taken with R lenses on other brands, as I have a few of them, they are still close to my heart. Using my R lenses on Canon and Fuji X have given me very good results. So with mirrorless bodies  in the likes of Fuji, Canon, Nikon Panasonic and Sony we have so many options,....... who needs Leica? cheers.
alan.y Posted September 19, 2021 Share #18  Posted September 19, 2021 More distantly-focused photos would be appreciated to let people evaluate corner performance in worse scenarios.
