Just as I said. Update is available since yesterday. But Leica has chosen to be prudent and roll out a progressive update. So you have to update manually. Or wait a few days to get your turn in automatic update scheme.

Anyone was able to tag GPS data from the App to the Q2? I see the satellite picture once Bluetooth connected but its always greyed out. Plus, I discovered the app won't automatically connect via Bluetooth when the camera turns on. So it will be useless for the purpose of tagging GPS data automatically (if I can get it to work). Anyone have better luck with the Geotagging?

I take it you are using a Q or Q2, which is the only model with both Bluetooth and WiFi?  This is strange.  I thought the idea of the latest upgrade was to permit lower power connections.

I've tested the new release on my M10-D, but can't see any new function or access to new controls.  It may be a bit faster in pulling up the thumbnails of files on the SD card.

Remote control is a joke and it is as disappointing as I have anticipated. You can change some settings, but it seems to activate AF, even if the lens is in MF mode. Am I missing something?

iOS, Leica Fotos 1.2.0

The Bluetooth connection to Q2 is established quickly, and a GPS icon is shown, but no GPS data is being transferred.

I do not see Leica Fotos app in the list of apps that use Location Services? Maybe a bug?

I am having diffculty getting the GPS info in the metadata.

The camera icons for both Bluetooth and GPS appear in the right hand bottom corner however the metadata doesn't have any GPS data recorded?

Can anyone point me to some more thorough instructions on how to use the App ?

Despite the indicators, it does not seem to be yet possible to store GPS data in the EXIF od the image.

Thank you  – I tried yesterday evening and wondered as well why there's no GPS data showing up in Apple Fotos and LRCC. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. Frankly, I didn't expect to get a product that is not yet fully ready as advertised when I bought the Q2.

B.t.w. the app quits/crashes every time I leave the control area (with the live view from the camera). Feeling like a beta-tester right now. Again, not the quality I expect from Leica.

Same here. Really disppointed by the quality of Camera, Firmware and App. I assume that's what happens if you buy "cheap" (i.e. not "M").

I’ve been trying to use this function with my Q2 and both my iPhone XS and iPad Pro 3rd gen.  It takes over 5 minutes to transfer 4 DNGs.  This function is simply not ready yet.  For reference on my Sony A7iii a whole 64 gb card can be transferred in about the same time.  Leica has the best optics but their programmers need work.

I'm loving my Q2, my first Leica, the FOTOS app - not so much.  It has bricked my camera a couple of times requiring the removal of my battery to reset.  GPS does not seem to be working.  Not sure what the low power Bluetooth is doing.  App is very slow.  Not sure why Leica released it with all of the problems.
