Don,

You might have some fun with it on your CL as well. (I do).

Rob

Any photos to share?

I enjoy using my SL 50/lux a lot. The weight and size doesn't bother me at all. The IQ is just too good. I prefer it over my previous Noctilux 50/1 v3. :p

Do you have the 16-35 SL? :)

I understand that the 16-35 is another 'big' lens. I'm waiting on the 35 f2 and using the  15mm voigtlander on the SL and/or 11/23 on the CL for wide angle.

Taken a while ago, but this will give you an idea of how nicely the 50SL can render on the CL.

I just acquired the SVE 16-35 ... It’s large but it’s v good from a few shots I have. Planning a trip to Iceland and Norway in February to exercise it and my Hasselblad camera attached to a drone 🤣

Forgot to add a pic to illustrate my post. One of my first shots with the large SVE 16-35: similar size to the 50-SL. Shot in the Apple Store Sydney-Bondi a couple of days ago. 23mm f/4 ISO 50

Perhaps because the 50 Summilux-SL on the CL will give Don a field of view equivalent to that of a 75mm lens on FF.

Edit - just saw Rob’s answer.

Yeah, thanks. I didn't think about the CL. 😁

So it's like a reversed wide angle, it shortens the legs of the subjects instead of making them longer?!

Thanks, they are dachsundts. One is a long haired, the other in the back of the top photo is not the long haired variety.  Very affectionate breed.

I have a full sized smooth tan with a touch of wire,  (once)male...he's totally blind now with very heavy cataracts.  He's called Mr Pepper Banger... ( a sausage dog 😅)...or "Pepper".

He's only 11 years but sunbaths in the vicious Australian sun, with his eyes open...hence the cataracts...i think. Next one I'll get some Bolle Sunglasses, or perhaps some Maui Jim, like master.

He's a dear pooch...i think I'm the only one who loves him in his old age.

Keep loving them Rob...beautiful dogs very popular in Australia, and around the world.
