Advertisement Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Hi Jeff S, Take a look here Using Live View on a Leica M10. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
MikeMyers Posted November 17, 2020 Share #42 Posted November 17, 2020 Sad to read that. Since this topic is about Live View, I have a few thoughts/questions. 1 - Live View is the only way to make certain as to what is in the frame or not, and to insure cropping is acceptable. 2 - I don't know how difficult it is to take a close-up photo on a M10, but Live View (or Visoflex) would be essential. 3 - When the camera is on a tripod, it's an easy way to check the view. 4 - It allows you to use Leica FOTOS and take photos from your iPhone. I've been thinking about this for a few days, but I like doing one thing at a time, as in learning the RF first. If the viewing screen pivoted out and up, like the latest Fuji, that would be great for low angle shots if you didn't have a Visoflex.
tappan Posted March 21, 2022 Share #43 Posted March 21, 2022 Resurrecting this thread.... Hello from the year 2022. I am an M10-P user who just now has started to use LiveView more and more. No Visoflex, just the back of the camera, though I am thinking of getting the new visoflex. Today, I shot with a 90mm Elmarit, at 1/45th of a second at F2.8 at 800asa. I got distortion that I believe is the rolling shutter problem. I did not know that this was an issue with the M10-P, I had only heard of it with the M11 and with some Canon R cameras. Anybody know how prevalent this situation/problem might be with the M10-P? Thx, Mark
