That is very nice of you. But, that is not necessary.

This was simply an academic question. If you speak to the person you might ask him the age of the building & the age of the roof.. You could also mention to him that our tiles are about 1 centimeter thick & ask him if he knows the thickness of his.

By the way, our tiles, which were in a little better condition than his, were a bright pink.
