Agreed, this would not be a lens I would purchase just for the bokeh alone. I only meant to say that many of us do like the distinct bokeh this lens produces. Personally, I like this lens for the glow at f/1.4 wide open – and the fact that it's low distortion and has very high IQ when stopped down.
