Photos from this thread look much more pleasing than the ones in the 35mm APO Summicron thread. I don’t mean artistically. Is it the lower contrast or the glow? Or maybe the resolution of the Apo doesn’t come through in a small file on a small screen?

Everything looks nice through a soft FX/promist/glimmerglas filter or 35 pre-asph lux wide open.

And definitely not on the low-res previews on this forum (when you click on them it gets better).
