Can you share a photo of the focusing ring at its MFD? JMF, is your image implying you have a Canadian version that goes down to ~0.8m? Hello. Yes I can post tomorrow. There’s no difference at all that I have noticed. I hadn’t even really noticed the ring turning more but I guess it must do . I only picked up the MFD when I did some tests

JMF Posted January 27, 2023 Share #1324 Posted January 27, 2023 Fortunately, my ex cine 1970 v2 RF coupled / M converted focuses down to 0,65m 😀 Welcome, dear visitor! It looks like most of the v2 lenses share an MFD of just under 3 feet. For reference, my serial is 3538XXX. 1
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Here’s mine, a German one at MFD. grahamc Posted January 29, 2023 Share #1327 Posted January 29, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Titan (1992): Approx 0.9 Germany (1992): 0.75 35:2 v4 included for MFD reference As you can see, in only the shorter focussing German copy the focussing arrow doesn't align perfectly with the aperture dot. I only just noticed this. Not something I know much about but could perhaps indicate this lens has been modified ? But in side by side tests with another black German copy (0.9 MFD) I can't notice any sharpness differences at all in all apertures zoomed to 200% on a 5K monitor, so no complaints at all here.
