So many of you have welcomed me into the CL forum. I read my notifications. How do I respond to your photographs so that my appreciation will show up in your notifications?

At minimum, click the "Thanks" button. I get notifications on any thread where there is activity—Thanks or new posts—when I have set my account to follow the thread. (I don't have my account set to do that automatically, however; I do it manually for all threads that I initiate, and I do it on image sharing threads or others where I want to see notifications and updates specifically.)
