Yoga For The Masses

I guess this qualifies as Street Photography because this massive yoga workout was taking place on a downtown street this morning. My city was recently named one of the "10 Most Fit" cities in the USA. This group would seem to support that ranking.

They have these mass yoga functions at the Comcast headquarters building in downtown Philly too

 

I always thought it ironic that the leading purveyor of sedentary past-time would host giant Yoga workouts on its property

That is pretty funny. Maybe they figure the yoga will balance out all the hours of sitting in front of the TV.

Yep, really an activity for the low class masses and befitting snapshots. From the spiritual, mental and physical restricted practices and disciplines that originated in ancient India, yoga transformed into the mass gym-like exercise here and now.

For the record, the first time you insulted my images it pissed me off and I over-reacted. Now, however, I'm onto you. You're someone who thrives on conflict. I'm not playing your game because your opinion means absolutely nothing to me. If you think you can make yourself look better by characterizing a large group of people you don't know as "low class," rest assured you are quite wrong. You only make yourself look petty.

Thanks, Stuart. This was this first one I've come across. I don't practice yoga myself but have several friends who do. They are some of the most fit people I know.
