Advertisement Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Hi sife71, Take a look here Mono CCD price. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dkmoore Posted July 23, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 23, 2018 find the contact number for your local Leica store or Wetzler and call and request a quote for the sensor replacement. If they charge you (big if) you can let the forum know the quote you received. If you are talking about buying the actual camera, you can check www.ebay.com. Prices vary from 3k-4.5k USD. You will have to convert to your currency.

Jeff S Posted July 24, 2018 Share #4 Posted July 24, 2018 Prices for M Monochroms have come down a bit (in the US) since late 2017 according to 2 reputable dealers I contacted. I bought a mint one, under 5000 actuations with new sensor and full Wetzlar service, in late 2017 for $3595. An equivalent sample would now sell for $3200 at the same dealer, consistent with the other dealer estimate. I was considering a sale, given relatively little use compared to my M10, but every time I use the MM, I change my mind. Jeff

The MM sees little use compared to M246, but every time I use the MM, I change my mind too. Jeff and All, enjoy in good health.
wilfredo Posted July 27, 2018 Share #6 Posted July 27, 2018 And I'm considering second MM type I since there won't be another sensor like it. I just got mine back from Leica with a new sensor, and I have fallen in love with it again. My Sony A7R2II with all it's monster features, just doesn't give me the same satisfaction, even when using it with Leica M lenses.
