Your points are well taken, but I'm just seeing something in the shots that is different from the way it was before, notwithstanding the different lighting and angles. Required by the repair was a "main board" ($500 e) which was integral to replacement of the card holder.  (The main board was not in and of itself defective). An unusual failure, no doubt.  I trust that Leica will step up to the plate on the sensor repair. Leica Miami has promised me a loaner camera if mine has to go to Germany again.
