RayD28 Posted July 1, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 1, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Please forgive me for not posting in German. I made this post in the international M lens forum but I'll post here also. Does anyone have experience buying from Jo? He has a website and a brick and mortar store in Vienna. He also sells on eBay with positive feedback. He has a lens I'm interested in. By looking at some other posts, he apparently worked for Leica Shop in Vienna and had something to do with a popular auction house or event. My main question is, is his rating system fair and accurate? Any other input is appreciated. Responses here or in private appreciated. Ray

doc steel Posted July 12, 2018 Share #7 Posted July 12, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) i can confirm all postings. i know him in person since many years. he worked several years at leica shop until he opened his own shop. he is qualified and friendly. the condition of the offered items is mostly better than in other well known viennese shops. the prices...hmm...he is not the cheapest but the condition of his items excuses that and they are still fair compared with others.recommendable for every interested photographer. cp995 Posted August 7, 2018 Share #11 Posted August 7, 2018 (edited) Ich hatte neulich einen Kontakt über eBay mit ihm. Paul Verrips Posted August 8, 2018 Share #14 Posted August 8, 2018 I bought a Leica 50mm f/2 Sumicron-M (1979-1994)Type 11819 @ Jo Geier, communication and sending was fast, although they were closed due to holidays.
Reini Posted August 8, 2018 Share #15 Posted August 8, 2018 Darf die Community wissen was du gefragt hast? Ich glaube, das ist nicht so interessant. Muss man hier nicht breit treten... Egal ob die Frage vielleicht nicht richtig gestellt war, der Verkäufer es falsch verstanden hat, oder einfach die Chemie nicht gestimmt hat.
