Just because it is more easy to achieve with a rangefinder? That, of course, doesn't work with a 1.25 lens. This technique is even critical using a 50/2. For me, the most important thing is, how the lens renders (the character!?). So far, I am more impressed by photos taken with the Noctilux 50/0.95 compared to the Noctilux 75. However, the Noctilux 75 renders light a 50 apo with better focal length for portraits and wider aperture... And I am absolutely fascinated by the 50 apo rendering (and lens size).

This excludes the nose, I’m afraid.
